Levi: April 5
March 11th,
2011
Howdy folks,
Well, winter is now behind us and spring is about to
be in full swing! We are so blessed to be able to get up each day and
see the beauty of the seasons unfold right before our eyes. Every season
brings forth a variety of things that are different from the previous
and we should be constantly reminded that God has a plan for everything
that exists. HE is in control even though there are times that we just
cannot see it.
Just a bit of “Great News” is the souls that have
been saved already this year. Just a few weeks ago we were so blessed to
have witnessed 10-15 souls saved and many others revived during a Sunday
morning singing. This is very unusual, but when the Spirit of God moves
and people are convicted unusual things happen. It is just awesome to be
in the midst of such a time of worship and celebration.
And just last night (Sunday
3.06.2011) we had a tremendous “Ole time
shouting ground” time of worship @
Gethsemane Baptist in Anderson SC and witnessed another salvation of an
elder gentleman at the conclusion of the service. Of course, we are
humbled that God would use us…but we understand that all the
Glory goes to GOD!
As for an update on J.R. and
Montez…they continue to have really had a rough time with their health.
However, all things being considered they are doing pretty good. We
still enjoy some good times together over the dinner table and just
visiting when we get a chance. Janice is in constant contact with them
so if you ever need an update you can contact her. We hope very much to
have them attend the Anniversary Singing next month on April 16th.
Please pray that God will give J.R. the strength and voice to be able
step back on stage to sing a few songs that night. We would like to
extend a very personal “thank you” if you are one of those who continues
to pray for them. Please keep it up!
Levi and Taylor continue to grow up right before my
eyes. It seems like every weekend they get on the bus that Levi has
gotten taller and Taylor a little prettier. Of course, they keep things
exciting on the bus by just acting like all brothers and sisters that
get cooped up in the same area for more than 10 minutes…we love’m! I
just cherish the time that we have together because they will be grown
and gone before we know it.
Jay Isaac is now a junior at
Clemson University and is back at home for a while…and we love having
him around. We have some tremendous times going to ballgames together,
going out to eat, going to church together (when we get a chance) and
just having some good conversations and fellowship from time to time. As
you may already know, God has really blessed and anointed him to sing
and he is now the Praise and Worship leader for the youth at Earles
Grove Bpt church on Wednesday night. Just
as a note you might want to mark your calendar for May29th…Jay Isaac and
Kristen will be singing the entire evening service at Earles Grove Bpt
church.
As for Kristen, Chad, Ayden and
Asher…they are all doing well. Little Asher has just had his 1st
birthday party.

He is walking and climbing now…and you can’t take
your eyes off of him…just a few weeks ago he was in the dining room and
we got to looking around for him and we found him curled up under a
table on a shelf with a potting plant on it.
Well, it’s baseball time again and Chad, Jay Isaac,
Pop and Ayden have already took in about 5 games.

Ayden is a “ballaholic” and keeps, not only Pop, but
Noonoo rolling, running or bouncing around on the floor all of the time
when they are at the house…We are so excited that it’s finally getting
warm and we can play outside! They are both just a bundle of blessing to
Noonoo and Pop!
We have been so blessed to have
Kristen to fill in singing for Jill some over the last month or so due
to some voice
issues that Jill has been experiencing. She will also be filling in
between March 20th
and April 10th
as Jill will be having some surgery. So, please pray for Jill’s quick
and healthy recovery and also for Kristen as she sings for this period
of time.
Nothing else is really new for
Mike, Jill, Janice and myself…we are just trying our best to live for
Jesus and are continuing to be blessed in our daily work and chores. God
continues to be so good to us all! We have so much to be thankful for if
we just look around each and every day. I realize that we all face
different challenges, but God is faithful to meet each and every one.
Let’s trust Him for our every need (Philippians
4:19).
We expect God to continue to do
some tremendous work through us the rest of the year as long as we
continue to be the clay in His Hands!
Let’s Continue to Win in 2010!
‘til next time,
Chris
